Fear

18 Aug

Fear is an emotional response to threats and danger. It is a basic survival mechanism occurring in response to a specific stimulus, such as pain or the threat of pain. Psychologists John B. Watson, Robert Plutchik, and Paul Ekman have suggested that fear is one of a small set of basic or innate emotions. This set also includes such emotions as joy, sadness, and anger.

I fear the future, I fear the past, I fear myself, but most of all I fear God and the situations he has put me into and through that are preparing me for another level of praise.

Have you ever gotten so caught up in the WORLD that you didn’t remember how blessed you were. That happens at least once every couple of days. Yes, I  thank GOD for how far he has brought me EVERYDAY. Yes, I pray but when the world has thrown me every where, I often forget that its ONLY by the grace of God that I am who I am today. God KEPT me and HELD me until I wouldn’t let go! His mercy and his love pulled me and held me together when I thought I would break.

Quick  testimony: I have sinned, yes I sin everyday, if you believe you are perfect and haven’t sinned than something is WRONG with you. Like I say everyday “I am an imperfect person, doing God’s perfect work.” But the same sins that other have gone to jail for, other have been punished for the rest of their lives, I have been spared. I know that I am favored.

Not saying these things to boast, only to say that I have more to praise about than you think, I have more to cry about than you think. God has spared me time and time again! Lest I forget thine Calvary?

So today make it a point to be thankful. More thankful than you were yesterday and the day before, more thankful than you can ever be. Jesus is waiting..
