This has been 1 of my Favorite Songs for such a long time. As a woman who often looks for her “fairy tale” man. This song up lifts my heart that there is a man who honestly cares and loves me for Me!
But what I have found to be even more special is God’s love. God’s love is Agape.
Agape has been expounded on by many Christian writers in C. S. Lewis, in book The Four Loves, agape is the highest level of love known to humanity—a selfless love, a love that was passionately committed to the well-being of the other. God sacrificed his ONLY son for me. There is NO ONE ON THIS EARTH who has done that!
As women, we think that Love is going to be perfect, that even though we won’t have flaws the man will! THINK AGAIN. God didn’t make love to be perfect. He made it for us to LEARN from it. With the divorce rate being so HIGH, you would think that people would want to learn from the mistakes of our fourfathers. But It looks as if they have just bumped their heads! lol
Start living your life based on the Relationship Principles of Jesus. Enjoy being single. Yes its hard being lonely! I live through it Daily.

Follow these relationship principles! They will take you far!
- Place the highest value on Relationships( Nothing is more important than relationships, God doesn’t work on you through your works, but rather through the Love that you have given through relationships. Not once did Jesus place the works of anyone over the relationship they had with him. Nothing is more important than the Love that you share with ones around you. If you are looking for an adventure, put all your faith into your relationship with people FIRST)
- Love Jesus as Jesus Loves you( God said the greatest commandment was to Love your neighbor as yourself, Learn to forgive those who have done you wrong, no matter how hard they hurt you. You living past the hurt and forgiving them, may be your key to true happiness)
- Communicate From the Heart(When you have an overflow of blessings, let others know! When God has blessed you more than you can imagine, let those around you know, never be afraid to tell others, your testimony about where God has brought you from)
- As You Judge, You will be Judged(Those, who take to heart what Jesus teaches about Judgment develop a more magnetic Personality. Every Christian isn’t a hypocrite! Hypocrisy is being more concerned about appearance than Reality. You must understand that reality makes you cry, but the truth dries your eyes!)
- The Greatest are the Servants(In every relationship, we face the same test, will I praise myself or will I humble myself? Jesus teaches us to translate our desire for greatness into actions of humility. Will you demand or depend on the relationships in your life?)
- Treat others as you want them to be Treated(THE ONLY WAY TO GET YOUR NEEDS MET, ARE TO ME UNSELFISH. In order to meet others needs, understand that you have to give in to other people’s needs. Love is Sacrificial and until you completely understand that your love life will never be complete)
Well if it goes by how you treat me… but this used to be my joint. I used to listen to this song for one of my girlfriends. I met her in the summer. and I would play it for her and leave it on her answer machine. She had just broke up with her man and i wanted to be her man so bad… i did everything in my power and we hooked up a few times and went on a few dates but eventually she moved away to md. Ended everything. I still think about her and i’m still looking for love.
Never look for love. It will find you. That maybe your problem. Either way it goes Xilla everything happens for a reason and there are plenty of Women waiting on a man like you! Just you wait she is there. The waiting game is NO JOKE! But God has a different plan than we do! You may need to be at a different point in your life before God can give you who you deserve!
I’m not looking, I’m open to love. But I’m not looking. It’s different for a guy, a man has to be the aggressor in relationship so it’s a little bit different. But you have to look for love. If you’re not looking it might miss you. I hope you understand the difference i’m trying to explain.
